The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great option if you're seeking a robot mop and vacuum that's middle-of-the-road. It's a great mopping capabilities, but is lacking some of the advanced features found in its more expensive sibling.

In the course of testing, it was able to handle dust and dry oats on carpets with medium piles and pet hair on hard floors. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't utilize LIDAR to help you map your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the top-rated robots. It has a lot of features and incredible cleaning power, including the dirt compartment built into the charging base. The robot will learn your habits of cleaning, and suggest automated schedules to give you an effortless cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automatic cleaning functions at the touch of a button. You can select an overall clean that emphasizes the removal of large debris such as cereal and rice or go for two detailed maps of your area to ensure that your entire home gets a proper look.

This robot vacuum performs well on floors that are unfinished and carpets with a low pile. It can take in large objects and doesn't lose suction as quickly as other models do and can clean up pet hair with ease. It does have a hard time with high-pile or plush carpet, but iRobot claims it will improve with future models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which focuses on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba that has flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes this will allow it to fit into the furniture and walls. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are standard, but we found it only marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ has an advanced filter system that prevents microscopic dust particles and allergens from circulating within your home. It's a nice claim, but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the price tag.

Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to store the layout of your home and vSLAM to map the interior of your home. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles, like staircases and other barriers, and to clean up your entire home in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, as well as create virtual boundary markers, so it can recognize areas that need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

What really makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly completely autonomously, requiring only a little for human intervention. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and will automatically move trash into a hidden bin. It also washes and dries the clean water tank. The app will only notify you when something is wrong for example, a low clean water tank or a cancelled vacuuming session due to a full bin.

You can also design and merge actual rooms to alter how the Q Revo treats your abode. This feature is helpful when you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or if you need to regularly clear out clutter such as toys, clothes, and books. The robot vacuum was also one of the best performers in my test, picking up debris on carpets as well as hardwood floors with the first pass. It is able to even remove wet spills however I would recommend drying them with a cloth before sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a high-end robot vacuum and mop combo and more. It comes with an omni-rotating mop as well as a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It is similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. 4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium mop and vacuum robot that comes with a host of convenience features you aren't likely to find on robots at this price. It has the ability to create detailed floor maps, detect various flooring types and is one of the few to automatically wash and dry the mop pads. These are nice features but they also push the L10s into the premium category. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners would need.

Designed to resemble a modern floor cleaner The L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish accented by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine features an impressive bumper that protects the vacuum cleaner and furniture as you move around your home. In the pane in the front is an additional navigation technology that is comprised of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, there's one button that basically is a switch for on and off. By pressing this button, you can activate the vacuum, and clicking it again will turn off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The circular menu in the center of the control panel lets you to select cleaning modes, schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons allow you to access the settings in the app, where you can alter the way the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technology to help you map out your home. This allows the robot to clean and mop efficiently, without getting stuck. The LIDAR also assists the robot vacuum recognize and avoid obstacles and obstacles, which is a wonderful feature for families with children or pets.

The L10s Ultra is an efficient vacuum cleaner, removing 98.4 percent of the debris we test on hardwood floors and taking out all but stubborn juice staining.
