The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great option if you're seeking a robot mop and vacuum that's middle-of-the-road. It's a great mopping capabilities, but is lacking some of the advanced features found in its more expensive sibling.

In the course of testing, it was able to handle dust and dry oats on carpets with medium piles and pet hair on hard floors. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't utilize LIDAR to help you map your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the top-rated robots. It has a lot of features and incredible cleaning power, including the dirt compartment built into the charging base. The robot will learn your habits of cleaning, and suggest automated schedules to give you an effortless cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automatic cleaning functions at the touch of a button. You can select an overall clean that emphasizes the removal of large debris such as cereal and rice or go for two detailed maps of your area to ensure that your entire home gets a proper look.

This robot vacuum performs well on floors that are unfinished and carpets with a low pile. It can take in large objects and doesn't lose suction as quickly as other models do and can clean up pet hair with ease. It does have a hard time with high-pile or plush carpet, but iRobot claims it will improve with future models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which focuses on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba that has flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes this will allow it to fit into the furniture and walls. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are standard, but we found it only marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ has an advanced filter system that prevents microscopic dust particles and allergens from circulating within your home. It's a nice claim, but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the price tag.

Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to store the layout of your home and vSLAM to map the interior of your home. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles, like staircases and other barriers, and to clean up your entire home in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, as well as create virtual boundary markers, so it can recognize areas that need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that combine vacuuming and mopping the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vac settings are as efficient as those found on higher-end models, and its mopping system is even better. Its spinning pads do a more impressive job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only issue is that it lacks a second rubber brush for more thorough cleaning, but it's an affordable cost to pay for if you are looking for one of the top robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank larger than many of its competitors, and it takes just two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the maximum dirt level.

In terms of the mopping device, I was impressed with its ability to scrub tough dirt from my floors. The two mopping modes that it has that are less aggressive than the higher-powered ones produce very little noise, which allows you to work or even watch TV without distraction. It will gently hit furniture or walls and move on whenever it comes across one.

What really makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly completely autonomously, requiring only a little for human intervention. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and will automatically move trash into a hidden bin. It also washes and dries the clean water tank. The app will only notify you when something is wrong for example, a low clean water tank or a cancelled vacuuming session due to a full bin.

You can also design and merge actual rooms to alter how the Q Revo treats your abode. This feature is helpful when you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or if you need to regularly clear out clutter such as toys, clothes, and books. The robot vacuum was also one of the best performers in my test, picking up debris on carpets as well as hardwood floors with the first pass. It is able to even remove wet spills however I would recommend drying them with a cloth before sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a high-end robot vacuum and mop combo and more. It comes with an omni-rotating mop as well as a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It is similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has an auto-cleaning base station that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads, keeping them free of germs and ready to use again. It also has a new sensor system that can better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture and other objects.

The most notable improvement to the ECOVACS X1 Deebot is its sleeker, modern design. This is due to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. While still quite big--it's over two feet tall and deep and weighs in excess of four pounds--the robot and its base are less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1, as it charges faster and can handle a complete cleaning of about 1,500 square feet with just one charge. Additionally, it comes with a larger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris and is easier to empty when needed.

Additionally it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and voice assistant that operates offline, which means you can manage it even when not at home. It also has additional mopping modes as well as a smart routing feature that allows you to clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of just following a set path.

The X2 Omni is the top robot at mopping. Its rotating mop pads scrub away tough stains, and its motor produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is also excellent, and it increases suction when it senses carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It also has a large battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as efficient as the ones we've seen black friday robot vacuum deals on the market for a consumer robot.

Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technology to help you map out your home. This allows the robot to clean and mop efficiently, without getting stuck. The LIDAR also assists the robot vacuum recognize and avoid obstacles and obstacles, which is a wonderful feature for families with children or pets.
