The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're looking to buy an affordable robot vacuum and mop. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but doesn't have the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.

In tests it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium-pile. However, like cheaper models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to map out your home.

1. IRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It is loaded with features and impressive cleaning power, such as an area for dirt that is integrated into the base of charging. It can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest automated schedules to ensure you have a hands-free experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once the system is setup, you can start automated cleaning with a single button click. You can choose the general clean option that focuses on the removal of larger particles like rice and cereal. You can also opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that the entire home is thoroughly cleaned.

This robot vacuum performs well on both bare floors and carpets with low pile. It is able to take large objects and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as some other models, and it can even remove pet hair without much difficulty. It's not the best time with plush or high-pile carpet, however iRobot claims it will improve in the future with new models.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that concentrates on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that adopts a flat-fronted D-shaped design. The company hopes this will allow it hug the furniture and walls. It's a nice change from the traditional hockey puck shape of the majority of robovacs. However, we found it to be only incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also has a superior filtration system which blocks tiny particles and allergens from circulating within your home. It's a nice claim, however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the premium price price.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors that keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology to map your interior. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles, like stairs and other barriers and to tidy up your entire home in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundaries so that the robot knows what areas require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robotic that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those on higher-end models, and its mopping system is even better. Its spinning pads do a better job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only drawback is that it does not have an additional rubber brush to allow to provide more thorough cleaning, but that's an affordable price to pay if you are looking for one of the top robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank is also larger than many of its rivals, and it takes just two or three cycles to fill it up, even at the highest dirt level.

In terms of the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings, which are less powerful than the high-powered settings, produce little noise, so you can work or watch television without being distracted. If it encounters an object, such as a wall or piece of furniture, it gently bumps into it before moving forward.

The Q Revo is unique in that it can run almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that automatically transfers physical trash to the bin hidden in the background and washes and dry the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app will only alert you when something is wrong like the water tank being empty or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to an empty bin.

You can also create or merge actual rooms in order to customize the way that Q Revo treats your home. This is an excellent feature if you have multiple areas of your home with different flooring materials or if there's a lot of items that need to be removed frequently, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, taking debris from carpets as well as hardwoods on the first pass. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. 3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum with all the features you can want. It also comes with more mopping options and an intelligent routing feature that gives it the flexibility to clean certain rooms or areas of your house instead of simply following a predetermined path.

The X2 Omni is the top robot at mopping. Its mop pads rotating clean tough stains and its motor produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding too, and it boosts suction when it senses carpet to ensure it does a thorough job. It has a large rechargeable battery that can last up to seven days. The mopping feature of the robot is also powerful.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a top-quality model that comes with a variety of convenience features not often found on robots of this price. It can build detailed floor maps, detect various flooring types and is among the few that can automatically wash and dry the mop pads. Although these features are great, they also put the L10s Ultra in the category of luxury, which might make it slightly more expensive than what some homeowners require.

It is designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is sweep and mop robot a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish that's enhanced by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine is adorned with a large bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner when you are moving around your home. However, it wasn't quite as efficient in dealing with sand on the hard floor and Quaker oats on carpet.
